Funded through the US Department of Human Services, Administration for Children, Youth and Families, and Armstrong McDonald Foundation.

This Comic Book Project was authored and illustrated by children of prisoners as one of their activities in a support group held for them at the KARE Center in Tucson. In their own words, it depicts common experiences of poverty, anguish, and upheaval. Also, it validates the need for community support as "KARE Cape Man" comes to the rescue.
