How Can I Help?

Default

The needs of children of prisoners and their families are very diverse. Many of the children live in poverty with extended family members. In fact, nationally most children of prisoners are cared for by their 60 + year old grandmothers. Family caretakers typically receive less than $200 per month to raise a child and many families are caring for more several children of an incarcerated parent.

So How Can I Help?
The children of prisoners involved in the STARS project have very similar needs and here are some ways you can help.
